Rowan has been hand-coding website for over eight years. For many years Rowan was the mark-up monkey for Optus Internet by day and growing his personal web design business at night. Rowan introduced Web Standards to Optus's public websites which were previous Dreamweaver table-based templates.

These days Rowan contracts to many organisations to provide custom web sites suited to his clients - from domain names, hosting, web apps, testing and design all the way to online marketing and SEO.

Rowan has been a long-time Web Standards Group (Sydney) member and attends many other web and technology events. He also contributes to a few of open-source projects.
