Writing for the Web Workshops
Get to the point. Striving for clarity in the most concise way possible is your driving goal when writing or editing online.
But that's often easier said than done. Simple can be hard.
This half-day course looks at the theory and conventions of online behaviour and how this then shapes the way we compose content.
Because of these constraints, but also because of the opportunities that online offers (think multimedia, social networking, connecting with links, search engine optimisation etc), web authors often need a framework for conveying content successfully online.
And that's what the course is about; equipping you with a high-level set of guidelines, tips and techniques to write more effectively for the web.
